Benedetto Santacroce is a lawyer and has been a member of the Rome Bar Association since 20 January 2002.<\/p>\n He holds a degree in law cum laude from the University of Perugia and a further specialist degree in economic and financial security studies from the \u201cTor Vergata\u201d University of Rome. He specialises in tax and customs law, e-invoicing, fiscal archiving, supplementary social security and compliance programmes under Legislative Decree No. 231\/01.<\/p>\n Initially an officer in the Revenue, from 1997 to 1999 he worked at the European Commission DG XXI \u2013 Taxation and Customs Union as a national expert seconded by the Ministry of Finance.<\/p>\n Currently an adjunct professor of \u201cCriminal Customs Law\u201d at the Faculty of Law of the University of Turin and a lecturer at both the Tax Police School and the Non-Commissioned Officers School of the Revenue Police, he previously taught at the \u201cEzio Vanoni\u201d Central Tax School of the Ministry of Finance and the \u201cGuglielmo Marconi\u201d Online University of Rome.<\/p>\n A frequent writer for various newspapers and journals that specialise in tax and customs matters (\u201cIl Sole 24 Ore\u201d, \u201cGuida Normativa\u201d, \u201cIl Fisco\u201d, \u201cL\u2019Impresa\u201d, \u201cGuida al Diritto\u201d, \u201cContabilit\u00e0 Finanza e Controllo\u201d, etc.), since 1997 he has been enrolled as a freelance journalist with the Union of Journalists of Rome.
